Lapham Associates provides survey grade photogrammetry services through the use of advanced UAV technology. Utilizing this technology, our licensed pilots are able to quickly gather large quantities of data and produce customized deliverables to our clients. Our mapping drone is equipped with on-board GPS which allows for very high accuracy, while also being capable of large scale mapping projects.

- Orthophotography
- An orthophoto is a large-scale, high-resolution image that shows features at a consistent scale throughout. Created from multiple aerial images, orthophotos correct image displacements caused by terrain relief and camera orientation.
- Orthophotos are popular for aerial imaging of private property
- File formats: Georeferenced .tiff and .jpg
- Marketing
- High-resolution photo and video can be provided for any use, including real estate marketing
- Volumetrics
- Stockpile volumes can be easily calculated within our software allowing for accurate monitoring of material quantity for our clients.
- Cut/fill volumes can be calculated to determine the necessary earthwork to be completed on a site
- Site Monitoring/Inspection
- Frequent progress updates throughout the construction process are valuable to our clients. We are able to deliver these updates in many forms, including orthophotos, high resolution photo/video, and 3D models which can be viewed and analyzed within your own web browser.
- Point Clouds
- We are able to provide the raw point cloud obtained through the mapping process which can be further utilized in any way desired

- Digital Surface Model (DSM)
- A DSM is a digital elevation model that represents all objects in the mapped area. It includes natural features as well as elevated objects, such as buildings. This is a beneficial way to view terrain relief in a 2-dimensional format.
- File formats: Georeferenced .tiff
- 3D Mesh Models
- A true color, 3D representation of the terrain and structures that can be viewed within your own web browser.
- File formats: .obj, .slpk
